A large sphere of handblown Czech glass with a removable brass socket assembly through the glass. An exposed fabric‑wrapped electrical cord runs from the brass socket assembly to the canopy. Each sphere is broken hot from the blower’s pipe and then the mouth is torch-polished to create a unique detail – handblown, no two exactly alike. The mouth is located slightly off center, not at the bottom of the sphere, giving the light an organic irregular quality. Two thumb screws attach the removable socket from the side of the glass sphere to access the bulb.
